For students
Shifts that fit around class, not the other way round.
StudentJobs is an app for Australian students 15 and over. Cafes, events, retail, and hospitality near you, each one showing how it fits your week before you apply.
How it works
- Tell us when you are free.Upload a photo of your timetable and we read it, or tap the hours in. We keep only the free-hours grid; the photo is gone within 30 days.
- Swipe through shifts that fit.Every card shows the roster against your week. Right to apply, left to pass, up to save for later. Pay is shown at your age's rate, never below the award.
- We write your intro. You fix it.A short message in your voice, friendly or straight. Edit anything, then send.
- Meet at the venue.Employers reply in-app and propose times. Under 18? You meet them at their verified venue, nowhere else. We remind you the night before and two hours out.
The week strip
Pale green is when you're free, bright green is the shift, ringed is the overlap. Every listing, same glance.

What we never ask for
- Your address or date of birth. Your suburb and age band are enough.
- An email or a password. Your mobile number is your login.
- Permission to advertise to you. There are no ads, and no marketing to under 18s.
Get the app
On the App Store and Google Play soon.
StudentJobs is in beta around the University of Melbourne and RMIT. Store listings go live with the public launch; until then the team hands out invites on campus.
Browsing on a laptop? You can read every live listing here on the web, but applying happens in the app, where your week does the matching.
